George Sodini had blog and website
George Sodini, a Pittsburgh Gym Killer, “Had Online Diary Of Murder Plans” on his blog.

In this undated photo made available Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 on George Sodini’s blog, George Sodini is shown. A person close to the Allegheny County coroner’s office says the gunman in the fitness center shootings was George Sodini who lived in Carnegie, Pa., just a few miles from the health club. In a Web site posted under his name, Sodini wrote rambling messages about his hatred of women and how he was tired of being rejected by them. He ended by writing, “Death Lives!”
George Sondini, the gunman who killed three women by firing more than 50 shots at a dance class in Pittsburgh Tuesday night has left an online diary website, in which he details his plans for the murders. Read more and see photos and video below.
George Sodini, 48, lived in Carnegie, just a few miles from the health club where 12 women were shot. After shooting at the women, Sondini killed himself.
In Sondini’s nine-month online diary, Sodini gradually builds up to the attack and explained what caused his depression, his lack of success with women, his employment problems, and his relationship with his family.
The diary begins with, “Why do this?? To young girls? Just read below.” Sondini goes into how his brother was always bullying him and about his “very dominant” mother.
One entry on his mother read: “A power and control thing. People outside the immediate family like her. Why are people vicious with their closest ones? She is the Boss above all other Bosses.”
Almost at the end of the website diary, it said: “Probably 99% of the people who know me well don’t even think I was this crazy. Told by at least 100 girls/women over the years I was a ‘nice guy’. Not kidding.”
Sodini was a member of the LA Fitness centre in Collier Township, Pennsylvania. In his diary he goes into how he looked jealousy at the female gym members who seeme to ignore him. Then yesterday, he had entered his date of death in the diary. He went into the health club just after 8 p.m., with two loaded guns hidden in his gym bag.
The three women who died in the gym shooting were Heidi Overmier, 46, of Carnegie; Elizabeth Gannon, 49, of Pittsburgh; and Jody Billingsley, 38, of Mount Lebanon.

2nd Amendment rights my ass, no civilian should be allowed firearms, period. How much longer will it take America before it steps into the modern world? This is not the wild west, we’re in the twenty-first century. Guns should be outlawed for the general public, and severely punished when the law is breached. There are too many crazy loons out there harboring hatred for other humans, that are in possession of firearms. My only concession to gun ownership is that every civilian gun owner should be licensed and should pass a psychological test, mandated to be taken at set periods, if they wish to retain the privilege of keeping their firearms. Failure to comply should lead to forfeiture of their weapons, or possibly jail time.

How sad that this guy lost his mind for a lack of spiritual identity and self worth. Manhood is not about success or not with women or the approval of others, it is about being spiritually centered within yourself in your identity as a man and standing up for what you are; you need to love and respect yourself before you can be truly satisfied with the love of others. Where I’m from a revolutionary statesman once said that it was better to live for a moment on your feet than a whole life on your knees. The world is full of beautiful women, so what? It isn’t worth a hill of beans if they cannot respect and love you. I have stood by these ideas all my adult life and had several wonderful, fulfilling relationships with beautiful women without losing control of my life, my present wife included, and I am by no stretch of the word an Adonis.
