Next indian future fashion

Written on August 5, 2008 – 10:14 am | by admin |

What will indian ethnics wear in 2036? Just forget fancy wireless Internet routers and camcorder phones, the future’s most innovative gadgets come in. Just take a look on this one. This has another side of indian fashion for future. At least that what I’ve seen on some magazine fashion.

With innovative materials for years, designers have been experimenting. Once-revolutionary synthetic fabrics such as Spandex, Polyester, Ultrasuede and Gore-Tex are now used in a wide range of footwear and apparel. Recently, I have read that Los Angeles-based denim designer Serfontaine Jeans started using DuPont’s Lycra T400, to create stretch jeans (which is made from multicomponent yarns) that don’t lose their elasticity, thereby virtually eliminating the need for a belt.

But we’re not just talking about clothes made with cool fabrics that retain their shapes or better resist stains, what’s known as “smart clothing”. We’re also talking about clothes with very new technology incorporated into its design, aka “wearable technology”. See the pictures below:
