Lil Wayne Going To Jail
After gun charge guilty plea, Lil Wayne going to jail for a year. He is about to join T.I. in the Big House. Lil Wayne, the Grammy-winning rapper pleaded guilty in New York City to attempted weapon possession on Thursday, and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence. The NYPD officials say charges stem from a gun was found on his tour bus in Manhattan in 2007.
Previously Wayne had pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3½ years in prison upon conviction. While the “Lollipop” hitmaker prepares to welcome a son with R&B star Nivea, his third child born in the past year, the news comes!
Wayne, 27, is also scheduled for trial in Arizona on weapons charges and felony drug possession. In that case, he has pleaded not guilty. While awaiting his February sentencing, he remains free on bail. The somber star did not speak as he left court.
