The name of Montana Democrat Max Baucus might get added with some of the Democratic Party members, which have faced criticisms for their work. Recent news have surfaced against Senator Max Baucus states that he had nominated his girlfriend, Melodee Hanes for the post of US Attorney.

This news has revealed by one of his spokesperson to the media and surprised people. He insisted however that the recommendations were based on the qualities of the candidate and not on his personal relation with the candidate. The Senator spokesperson said that he and Melodee Hanes started an affair in 2008 summer and later recommended her for the post of US Attorney. When they embarked on an extramarital, Melodee Hanes used to work as state office director.

Sources alleged that they have started to live together since then, though the relation between Senator Max Baucus and Melodee Hanes started as an extramarital affair. The Finance Committee chairman had divorced from his former wife and at present he is living with Melodee Hanes.

Melody Hanes relation with the Senator has remained unchanged, rhough she removed her name from the list of nominees for the US Attorney. Records state that they knew each other for a considerable period of time as they have started to work together from 2003. However, they realized their affection for each other when Melodee Hanes decided to leave the office of Max Baucus. They got intimate after this and Melodee Hanes, who has also divorced from her husband, is happily living with Senator Max Baucus in Washington.
