Steve Jobs announced iPhone OS 3.1 in Apple Event Today

Steve Jobs is back in Apple Event 2009 action and wearing a belt. He announced iPhone OS 3.1 for iPhone and iPod Touch.

However, there was some wonder as to whether or not the man himself would take center stage during Apple’s Rock and Roll event today after having received a liver transplant earlier this year. Still, there he is, upright and decidedly healthier-looking. Jobs had one more surprise for us all beyond his appearance: a belt. Will this spur a change to the official Steve Jobs getup, or is this just a one-time thing?

It’s good to have Steve Jobs back. The Apple’s leading man isn’t wasting any time, either. He’s already dropping plenty of news about the iPhone moving to 3.1 and iTunes 9 coming out today.
